Not a single frozen and refried piece of chicken to speak of. This fried chicken was so delicious and fresh that I found myself wishing I'd had a bigger appetite. The fresh chicken tenders were exactly like I make at home.I was visiting from Mobile and now I find myself craving their food.

Friendly service. Very clean. Buffet opens at 10am - NICE. Typical fresh buffet. I wouldn't make a special trip, but I would definitely come back. I'd like to give it 3.5 stars.

Small Consistent Hot Fresh Buffet with Home cooking sometimes seafood. Table and booth seating. Plenty parking for any vehicle including commercial size and extra room for large group seating. Good food and service always a full glass of tea 🙂 They are even open Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Not much of a selection. At all. Food was not very fresh or proper temperature. Staff is real nice. I'm begging you to go anywhere but here.

One of the best buffets I've been to yet. I had the shrimp buffet and was not bad priced at all, came with the drink and was delicious. Catfish was perfectly cooked.

Nice southern buffet. Fried chicken, mullet and catfish as well as several other offerings. Plenty of veggies. Went for late lunch, atmosphere was quiet and homey. Great for the price, which wasn't much more than you would pay for fast food.

Good food, friendly staff, good service

Good place to get a quick, all you can eat meat and three (or more). Food was hot and tasty. Salad bar has lots of options (except for lettuce, iceberg only). Two kinds of gravy, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and cheesey grits (my personal favorite). Very reasonably priced for all you can eat, recommend!

Ok food. Cashier was rude. However, waitresses were nice.

Best fried chicken I've ever had! Stopped into town with the military on our way to Mississippi. They are one of the few places left in America that really welcome good ol home town hospitality. Their grits are just like momma made em' and they have great staff. Stop by if you're on the interstate and you wont be disappointed.

This place was enjoyable for the most part. We were looking for a restaurant that had Southern, Home Cooking on our way back to Florida. The woman at the front cash register left MUCH to be desired and her bad, somewhat rude attitude almost had us hitting the road again! I believe she was the owner or manager. I did not feel welcomed whatsoever. The price was good with the exception of my little 50lb, 8yo daughter who was charged $7, which I thought was a bit pricey. On to the menu! I am not usually a fan of chicken fried steak, but there's was fantastic! Their crab cakes were delicious also! They fell short with the runny, instant mashed potatoes and also the macaroni and cheese. Their lima beans were delicious and they had a nice selection for the size of the restaurant they had. The desserts were tasty although the pecan pie ran out quickly. The children enjoyed the ice cream and a few other deserts.

My family of 7 stopped here looking for some good southern food. Jim's did not disappoint. They had fried chicken, fried pork chops, fried catfish, fried chicken strips, and hamburger steak with gravy. Several vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice and gravy, a nice salad bar, 2 kinds of soup, and several desserts including banana pudding. It was an older building, but very clean. Our waitress kept our sweet tea filled and was very kind. Several awards for "best buffett" decorated the walls. You can always visit a Ketucky Fried Chicken or Ryan's. Why not support local small business? You will get a wonderful meal and some southern hospitality.

Loved this place! Fast and friendly service, Excellent food! Southern style home cooking, large selection, fantastic prices - only paid $20 for two adult buffets. Will definitely return here soon! They've earned a new regular customer! Highly recommend you try this place when you're able to!

Small buffet regarding the size. But still over 30 items available... They had something for everyone the day I visited... The entire place was kept very clean including the restrooms... Waitress was very friendly..Quality of food was excellent & items were continually being topped off when they behave low...My favorite was the fried pork chops.... It's not often that given a full 5 stars, but I honestly can't think of any reason not to....

To be honest this place is horrible, but it is not great either. The only thing it has going for it is that it's the only buffet in the city. Food is mediocre and lacks any flavor. I would say this is better than a Golden Coral but, that isn't saying much.

I believe the food on buffet,has been on there all day..That's not good,you can get food poisoning...

This place was really good. I'd reccomend going on Friday for all you can eat shrimp. The fried shrimp was the best one imo. Crab salad was real good. Banana pudding was killer. I'll be going back on my next visit. Was 20 bux for just myself with tip and soft drink. Only downside was I wish they had ice cream station or more deserts to chose from. Not too shabby for in the middle of nowhere.

Their stew chicken was just like grandma s. The ribs were perfectly seasoned with just enough bbq sauce and fall off the bone tender. The servers were very nice and the cashier and hostess were very sweet.

Selection was good but food not seasoned as well as it usually is. Still a great place to eat.

Pros: Lots of room to eat. Friendly staff. Softserve for dessert. Cons: Food is sub-par; both in quality and in variety in choices.I would recommend going to The Oaks restaurant, or even Jackson County Hospital (seriously, try their Sunday lunch. Best kept secret in town). Both of these have higher quality food for the price you pay.

We have not been here in years but with new owners we decided to give it another try. Oh my where do I begin- The mashed potatoes were instant and soopy. The chicken was dried out and had no flavor The deserts were store bought and old / hard. Place was dirty and not well kept. We will NOT be back

Looks nice but limited items. Butter beans and green beans were good. Banana pudding had no bananas in it. Peach cobbler crust not done. Could not cut or chew chicken livers. Mashed potatoes are INSTANT which was very disappointing. As we left the hostess asked how everything was. I said “Just okay.” She did not inquire or ask for details. Nice Christmas music playing.

we went here last night for dinner food was good just kinda wanted a dish that was not chicken some beef dish would have been nice

Everything was just great today

It was ok, but was it so special that I'd go out of my way to go there again.

The menu is varied lots of buffet items you don't normally find attentive wait staff loved the whole experience
